COURSE DETAILS
This course is designed to take your nautical skills to the next level, focusing on the fundamentals of sail trimming and rigging. It is divided into two parts, one theoretical and the other practical; both will be carried out aboard a boat equipped with Marconi rig.
You will learn about the adjustments necessary to make the most of the wind and enjoy safer, more efficient sailing. The main objective of the course is to learn the techniques and operations necessary for the management (hoisting/lowering) of sails on board, as well as the optimization of their operation (trimming).
The training is usually carried out aboard the Morrocoy (Dufour 405 Grand Large – 2010), or aboard the Bryant or the Aliz (Ro Náutica). Fast and functional cruising sailboats that offer great comfort and large spaces.
REQUIRED LEVEL
The course adapts to all levels. You will be able to enjoy this training whether you are a beginner or if you already have previous experience in navigation.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended to wear comfortable and breathable clothing. Choose clothes according to the weather conditions. Wear closed shoes with white soles. (More information in the Frequently Asked Questions )
