COURSE DETAILS
This course is designed to take your nautical skills to the next level, focusing on the fundamentals of sail trim and rigging. It is divided into two parts, one theoretical and one practical; both will be carried out aboard a vessel equipped with Marconi rigging.
You will learn about the adjustments needed to make the most of the wind and enjoy safer and more efficient sailing. The main objective of the course is to learn the techniques and operations necessary for handling (hoisting/lowering) sails on board, as well as optimizing their performance (trimming).
The training is usually carried out aboard fast, comfortable, and well-equipped cruising sailboats, ideal for both learning and leisure sailing. Among the vessels used are the Albatros II (Dufour 375 Grand Large), the Morrocoy (Dufour 405 Grand Large), Babe (Beneteau Platu 25), as well as the Bryant and the Aliz (Ro Náutica).
REQUIRED LEVEL
The course adapts to all levels. You will be able to enjoy this training whether you are a beginner or if you already have previous experience in navigation.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended to wear comfortable and breathable clothing. Choose clothes according to the weather conditions. Wear closed shoes with white soles. (More information in the Frequently Asked Questions )
