COURSE DETAILS
In this course, you will learn to interpret and use essential navigation tools such as nautical charts and plotters, with the aim of acquiring knowledge in both classic and electronic navigation.
We will review the theoretical concepts of navigation with paper charts and electronic equipment to accurately determine a boat's position and establish the route to follow to reach the destination.
The course consists of a theoretical class (in-person or virtual) delivered in conjunction with a nautical school and a 3.5-hour practical class aboard the Vagabunda (Beneteau Oceanis 55). Our training offers you the opportunity to apply your knowledge directly on the water and refine your navigation skills in different scenarios.
REQUIRED LEVEL
It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or have previous sailing experience, this course is designed to suit all levels.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended to wear comfortable and breathable clothing. Choose clothes according to the weather conditions. Wear closed shoes with white soles. (More information in the Frequently Asked Questions )
