COURSE DETAILS
Knowing the meteorological fundamentals will allow you to anticipate and avoid dangerous conditions at sea (storms, strong winds, storm surges, etc.) and as a consequence plan safer navigation routes.
The objective of the course is to develop basic knowledge of meteorology to be able to know current and future weather conditions at the time prior to navigation. Creating a weather forecast on board will improve the boating experience and reduce the associated risks.
The course consists of a theoretical class taught by Javier Aliaga, founder and director of the 32 Cuartas Nautical School aboard the Albatros II (Dufour 375 Grand Large – 2011). A fast and stable sailboat in navigation, with large spaces to offer comfort and practicality during training.
