COURSE DETAILS
Learn about specific sails for sailing in strong winds.
The course offers a combination of theoretical and practical learning on board a Marconi-rigged vessel.
During the training we will focus on the following concepts: the general rig of the boat, the typology of headsails, maneuvers and trimming. We will delve into the techniques for carrying out emergency or fortune rigging, as well as carrying out advanced maneuvers.
The classes will take place aboard one of the sailboats of our Velas Blancas club, fast and stable sailboats that offer comfortable and easy navigation in all circumstances (Ro Náutica 265).
REQUIRED LEVEL
Once you've mastered basic trimming and rigging skills, you'll be ready to make the most of our outrigger sail course.
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended to wear comfortable and breathable clothing. Choose clothes according to the weather conditions. Wear closed shoes with white soles. (More information in the Frequently Asked Questions )
